Tim's Daily Diaries 19/12/2025

Hay folks Tim here with your Thursday roundup and a quick catch up with the Postal Ponies in The North Pole. We have alumni updates and raffle winners! And vet day updates too. It is all happening, we are even still, just above water! The weather has decided that we need to be washed rinsed and the whole cycle repeated before the Postal Ponies return in a days time! We have sent a message out to the local fishermen to ask if we can borrow some of their boats, just in case we need to evacuate HQ!

It appears this weeks vet/dental/ farrier list has either blown or washed away, I have a few details but was helping Teddie blue eyes hold up the antennae so that we could receive Wombles daily transmission! So many apologies folk but as usual a lot going on!! Here is what I have; teeth were done for Popcorn, Lady and Cookie.

The list has been found! Moss is smuggling Christmas baubles, but they will be removed with all the other decorations early in the New Year!

There were a few other dental checks for Rolo, Princess, Nutmeg, Zebedee and Tedi. Bonnie had a check and repack of her cavity. Bam Bam had X-rays taken of his teeth but results are awaited.

Piglet had a Cartrophen top up and bloods were taken from Piglet and Bertie to check their ACTH levels as they have been Cushings medicated for 8 weeks now. Vetting checks were carried out on the two returning ponies as well. A few other tests were carried out whilst the vets were here, I will report the results. Whew busy day.

There are Christmas raffle winners, the draw has been made and congratulations are in order for six lucky winners, Julie Holcomb, Elly Honeyball, Liz O’Brien, Yvonne Attridge-Hall, Sarah Pares and Krys Lavery. Well done folks and thanks for your support!

We had a gorgeous video of a happy pair of spotted ponies sent to us. Sequin and Todd are very happy together and their fosterer Maisie took some video of the very wet pair and it has been posted on the page. Do check it out.

Now the Postal Ponies update. The local expert turned out to be Brownie a cousin of Rudolph! He is really helpful and knowledgeable, he has made special arrangements for us and we will be in the North Pole in the blink of an eye! Santa has offered the postal ponies the use of his sleigh to cross the ice fields! And so the magic begins! The ponies have been told there are surprises in store for them! Will report more when we hear more! Very exciting

Well that is the news for today folks! I will return tomorrow with more, TTFN,

STOP PRESS *** I sadly report that another Munchkin has gained their wings. Dear Lucky who only recently joined the HQ herd was gently assisted over the rainbow bridge today, fly high sweet Lucky, those gone before will be awaiting your arrival. Our thoughts are with your Mum Paddy Paws and the friends you left behind.      ******. End

Tim, Munchkins Head Reporter.
