Hay folks, Tim here, the weather is crisp and windy, we are enjoying the new barn and say thankyou to everyone who has raised money and donated towards this amazing project. Christmas Day and no one got coal, lovely treats and hay which made our day. A huge thank you to Nicky and her hubby Ed who turned up early and helped Mummy Munchkin hugely this morning!
Also a massive thank you to Ken and Krys who helped Mummy Munchkin in the evening duties too.
We really do appreciate you!!
We did suggest to Mummy Munchkin that she could leave us the keys to the feed store and we would sort out the feeds to allow everyone a rest day but we're told that the temptation may prove too much so our offer was declined!!
Tilly goat has informed me that the ponies had a case of the zoomies, probably the cold North wind to blame. Rolo started it all off and Honey, Herbie, Blossom, Christy and Bonny were going really fast! They had been in with Floss for company and although normally in with the oldies overnight the only two who slowed down enough were Honey and Rolo, who made it back in with the oldies! Apparently Tom and I were quite a sight to see in zoomie mode as well, spectacular was the word used!!
Thankyou Tilly Goat your assistance is much appreciated.
Did anyone follow Santa on the NORAD tracker? Poor Santa didn't get home until after 10 am this morning, he delivered nearly 9 billion presents world wide, those reindeer will need a lie in for a day or two that is for sure! Crumble and Arthur gave each reindeer a quick sip of jingle juice to help them on their way! It was much appreciated, wonderful to see everyone again.
Before Womble trotted back to the Munchkins Manor youngsters herd he set up the laptop so that the herd could watch some festive cartoons , the favourite so far is the Wallace and Gromit, vengeance most fowl! We just hope that it hasn’t given anyone any naughty ideas!
The jingle juice has been flowing the carrots and treats going down well, and the mash sliding down a treat too! We are in for another cold one tonight but we have our winter woolies on ready and the shelters have nice snuggly beds and plenty of hay. Such an exciting day for everyone. We hope everyone had a good time and caught up with family and friends.
I am off back to the pony party, I will return tomorrow with more, meanwhile, Happy Christmas and thankyou from us all at HQ, TTFN
